Professional, DIY or Strip?

Lash format comparison

Choose the format before the style

Understand the differences between lash formats before comparing styles. Start with the intended application, then review the band, base, row arrangement and package contents shown in the selected listing. A product name alone should not decide which format fits your requirements.

Different band and base arrangements serve different formats.

Start with the format

Professional extension trays and premade fans are sold in different bases, rows and length arrangements. DIY cluster sets use segmented formats, while strip and magnetic products use their own band and application systems. Begin with the format stated on the listing; a shared description such as natural or volume does not make two formats interchangeable.

Professional trays

Individual extensions and premade fans come in rows or other listed pack arrangements. Check the stated base and intended application.

DIY clusters

Short segments can be arranged in trays, books and kits. Check the individual option for the lash and accessory contents.

Strip and magnetic

Continuous band and magnetic systems have their own designs and package formats. Confirm the exact item and components.

Read the item and its selected option

Check the exact option rather than treating the first photograph as a list of everything supplied. Products may have lash-only and kit versions, single-length and mixed-length versions, or different quantities. For example, product 4859 lists a 12-row premade tray and an 8–15 mm option; that range alone does not state the quantity of every individual length.

A tray, book or case name describes part of the packaging; it does not establish the application system or the contents of every selectable kit.

Compare appearance after the format

Once the product format is suitable, compare the listed curl, length range, fiber diameter, density label, band and base. Consider where a fuller or more tapered appearance is needed. Treat a photo as a visual reference and use the written specifications to distinguish similar products.

Ask about missing information

Include the product link, selected option and the question that remains unanswered. Ask which components are supplied and whether the item is intended for the application you have in mind. Follow the instructions supplied for the individual product; this comparison is a purchasing guide, not an application procedure.

Discuss your selected products

Include the product link, exact option and the questions you need answered. Confirm the actual pack contents and order conditions for the selected items.
